4 Signs Your Body is Too Acidic and How to Fix it

Well one of the easiest ways to find out can your balance remains the same is to look at your body’s pH level. In fact, your stomach requires acidity to digest food while your immune system relies on alkalinity.

In order to reflect a healthy and balanced system, keep in mind that values below 7 are considered acidic, and anything higher than that represents an alkaline environment. Therefore, if your values are below 7 you should definitely take some precautions.

1. Excess weight

Having too much acid in your body causes it to produce more insulin, meaning your body stores more fat. Moreover, as your pH is low, your metabolism won’t work properly either, it prevents your body to burn calories, and you don’t lose weight.

2. Weak bones

Your body gets soluble base from various sources in the body, including your bones. Accordingly, when your body is faced with too much acid, your body starts pulling calcium from your bones and you’re progressing to weaken up your bones. Moreover, if you are diagnosed with osteoporosis, stop consuming coffee, and other acidic foods.

3. Sensitive teeth

A 2015 study released that teeth can also become an easy target of high acidity in your body. Therefore, if you notice that you hurt from cavities or can’t eat cold or hot foods, your tooth enamel needs help.

4. Sleep issues

According to the Human Nutrition Research Center in North Dakota when your body starts requiring calcium, you’ll suffer from insomnia.
